All our medical aesthetic treatments are only carried out following a consultation with our RGN Nurse Prescriber.

Our consultations are free of charge and totally without obligation.

Our nurses will be happy to discuss your particular needs at consultation and provide you with enough information to make an informed decision. Rest assured, there will be no 'hard sell'. Our aim is to help our clients and not to take advantage of them.

We believe that it is important for you to feel relaxed and at ease. We welcome family and friends attending consultations. Often two heads are better than one. What one may have missed, another may have grasped.

All our medical aesthetic and laser treatments are only available via a consultation and test patches where appropriate. This is because these are highly specialised medical procedures which are invasive. Above all, we need to ensure your safety. The first step towards this is through medical screening.

You deserve to be treated with respect and to this end you should have the relevant information you need to make an informed decision as to whether to proceed to treatment and, if so, which treatment option best suits your needs.

We believe that it is important to give our patients the time and space to make well informed choices.

Harmony is the newest and most exciting development in medical aesthetics.

It’s a consultation methodology designed to involve you, the patient, from the outset. The Harmony programme produces a bespoke treatment plan which draws on the latest techniques and products to restore and enhance a balanced natural facial appearance.

The ethos behind Harmony is that the whole consultation and treatment process is driven by what you want to achieve and examining the options available. This is the best way to ensure that you can make informed choices as to whether to be treated and, if so, how.

It includes strategies for managing simple and multiple treatments.

One of Harmony’s key aims is to minimise your spend!

Acne is a common inflammatory disorder that can affect both teenagers and adults. In both cases it can cause negative cosmetic affects which can lead to emotional distress.

We can manage the causes of acne through a choice of skin care products for use at home. The choice of which is best for your skin is determined at consultation. These products work by controlling the spread of the bacteria which cause inflammation or the formation of pustules. They help control and clear up acne pimples.

We can also manage the effects of acne through light therapy. Our Omnilux light helps alleviate skin reddening often found in acne.

Acne Scarring

Acne scarring results from the skin healing after severe acne.

We can treat these scars by a variety of means. The most appropriate for you is determined through consultation. Available treatment methods include glycolic skin peels, dermal needling and dermal fillers.

Anti-Aging & Anti-Wrinkle

We would all rather not show signs of aging. Fortunately there a several safe, effective and well proven products & services available to choose from. We only use products which are traceable, safety approved, have a proven record of effectiveness and no long term side-effects.

With over twenty years of experience in this field our Nurse Practitioner is highly skilled at determining the best solution for anti-aging issues and very adept at applying them.

Specific issues and treatment areas include:

- forehead lines ('frown lines' or glabella lines),

- crows feet around the eyes (periorbital or 'laughter lines'),

- nose-to-mouth lines (or nasolabial folds)

- cheek augmentation (or volumisation)

- lip augmentation (volume, shape and vermillion boarder)

- chin profiling (reshaping)

- wrinkles

Facial Thread Veins

Our state-of-the-art laser is very effective at safely removing facial thread veins. It can dramatically improve the appearance of skin affected by those spidery thread veins. This treatment is fast and effective.

Lip Augmentation

Take a look at your lips are they firm, plump well defined? If not then take a look at the following treatments for lip correction:

Vertical lip lines.

These are the lines that radiate out from your vermillion border, often referred to as smokers lines – but you don’t have to be a smoker to get them. Over time all that talking, eating, drinking and kissing has caused dynamic lines to become static in the skin due to loss of collagen in the skin. By replacing the lost collagen with a dermal filler those lines can be smoothed away. Prices start from £205 for a 0.5ml syringe or £310 for a 1.0ml syringe of hyaluronic acid dermal filler such as Restylane or Belotero.

Lipstick bleed lines.

These are the lines that become apparent after your carefully applied lipstick starts to bleed into these lines on the vermillion border making them look smudged and messy. By firming up the vermillion border, but not making the lips look bigger, you can apply your lipstick with confidence knowing that your painted pout will look perfect all day long. A 0.5ml syringe of Restylane at £205 will correct lipstick bleed lines.

Naturally thin lips.

Not everybody has naturally plump, full lips, or if you may have a thin top lip. But with the help of Restylane Lip Volume (£350 per syringe) you too can enhance the size of your lips, adding volume to create a luscious pout. Something to put your lipstick onto.

Thin lips due to age.

As we get older our skin gets thinner, as does the subcutaneous fat layer and the gums recede all of which results in the lips losing volume and the vermillion tissue becoming drawn in towards the mouth. Depending on the extent of the problem the solution could be to replenish the vermillion tissue with Restylane Lip Refresh (£225 per syringe) or to add volume and recreate the plump lips of your youth with Restylane Lip Volume (£350 per syringe).

All lip treatments will cause swelling which can take up to a week to subside, so don’t have this done the day before your wedding or a significant event.

As with all Medical Aesthetic treatments, lip treatment is subject to a consultation to assess your suitability for the treatment, for which there is no charge.
